I’m a field tech and my schedule is erratic, but I have weekends off. Shane came out on Saturday to check out the project. My house is old, with original breaker panel. When my son turned on window a/c upstairs, it tripped the breaker and shut down my pc downstairs. I thought I needed to upgrade to 200amp, but Shane said let’s just upgrade the 100amp with extra slots for the future. He also ran a dedicated 20amp line up to my son’s room. Long story short, he was great to deal with and saved me a ton of money.

Smith Electric came out and saved the day!!!! I will definitely be using them in the future for any electrical needs. They worked with my schedule, they worked with my unique situation (getting a roof put on during their work). They were kind, helpful, caring and extremely reasonably priced. Shane installed a dedicated outlet for my sump today and did a great job. He didn't leave a mess and kept my drywall in great shape. Although I wish the price was a little less I do understand parts are more expensive now😞 He is a sweetheart and a professional that I highly recommend 👍 …

Shane is super responsive, easy to schedule with, prompt and quick. I had an outlet conversion I needed done, as well as updating a few outlets to gfci, he was able to get the job done right away and super quick. Anything that needed explaining, he was able to explain in a way I understood, and he was very patient with my questions.

Accidentally took my time to write this review, as the work was done in January, several months ago. Shane does effiecient and amazing work. We had our fuse box and main wire replaced on one of the coldest days. Ours was way past its service life and had loads of corrosion and water damage. Shane had the power out for 5 hours and got the job completed impeccably. He also took his time to be courteous and explain every step of the process. The cherry on top? Shane is very reasonable and will astound you with what is possible with what he charges. If I ever have friends that need electrical work or if I need additional work to be done, rest assured I will be talking to Shane Smith. Thanks again!

Shane (Smith Electric), was amazing! I can't thank them enough for doing an amazing job of replacing our electrical box and a dimmer switch. Quick turn around and very reasonable! I will keep them in my back pocket. 10 stars and I highly recommend!

Shane is amazing! He came out and replaced my electric panel today. Knowing my panel was in the shape it was in, his work was excellent and his price was completely fair. Just had Shane and Coop here to install outside light, closet light and outside plug cover. Called them this am to set up an estimate on outside light. Due to an opening in their schedule they were here within 10 minutes, gave estimate, said they could do it then. I added the closet light and outdoor plug cover. Nicest guys. Father & Son family business. So polite, very reasonable, efficient, and cleaned up. My new go to electrician co. Highly recommend ☆☆☆☆☆

Let me chime in with the voices here saying that Shane is amazing! Trustworthy, friendly, professional, everything I was seeking. I have a century old house and waited a long time to have something necessary fixed because I'd had such terrible previous experiences with the corporate "all in one" outfits that overcharged for shoddy work. I saw a local recommendation for Smith Electrical posted on a community reddit thread and I am so glad I did. He did excellent work: got back to me quickly when I first called, showed up exactly as we had scheduled, walked through and explained everything clearly, the cost was reasonable and transparent, and the job was done right the first time. (Also, not having to deal with any high pressure "sign up for our annual maintenance plan" sales pitches afterward was also worth its weight in gold, too) I was very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Smith Electrical to anyone in a heartbeat. In fact, I am writing this review because I looked up the number to call again for another outlet installation and realized I didn't finish posting my review last time. If you need an electrician, this is the one to call.
